Regeneration with a heated blower instead of compressed air: pressure dew point -40 degrees C without any compressed air consumption for regeneration. Higher investment cost and electricity consumption, but attractive where compressed air loss for regeneration is costly (e.g. large-scale 24/7 operation).

- Higher initial investment cost and electricity consumption than cold regeneration, but no compressed air loss for regeneration
- Effective counter-current airflow cools the desiccant after regeneration
